The
Chaplaincy Institute for Emergency Services (CIFES) was established in
June 2007. The work of CIFES has been exclusively limited to emergency
services professionals and the communities they serve.
CIFES was founded by Rev. Dr. Mark Holland. Chaplain
Holland received his undergraduate degrees in emergency services and
theology. His doctoral and master degrees are in pastoral care and
counseling. He has been married for over 23 years. He has two teenage
sons.
